Kim: “It felt really good to be back on the bike”

Kim’s first practise of 2017 are now done!

– It’s always nice to get that first practice done and dusted and see so everything is working as it should!

The Swedish national team gathered Ostrow (Poland) this weekend to practise for the first time this year. The track is quite big (372 meters) and round.

– You carry a lot of speed all the time and it was a great track to start on to get in to the race pace right away!

The Swedish national coach Morgan Andersson had arranged everything very well for the riders. Unfortunately, the Saturday practise rained off.

– We started off with some free practice sessions a few times and then done some heats against each other. It is always one thing to go around by yourself but you really know where you stand when you are up against three other riders! However, both the free practice sessions and the heats felt good!
– But even though one day was rained off we got many heats in on the friday and it feels really good that the season has started!

Next time for racing is 29:th of March in Leicester, where the Leicester Lions have their press day.

– I can’t wait for it!
